Jeanne Campbell

Welcome to the official site dedicated to fashion designer, Jeanne S. Campbell.

This site profiles the personal life and fashion career of a remarkably talented woman who didn't seek publicity for herself, only her fashions. Consequently her name isn't as recognizable as some designers today.

For more than three decades, American fashion designer, Jeanne Campbell influenced the world of fashion. As the designer at Sportwhirl, Inc., of NYC, for 26 years, she won the Coty Award for "...clothes that reflect the best American tendencies in the inexpensive sportswear market".

She was famous for the success of her sheath dress, as well as other inventive designs. She helped define "separates" to the fashion world with her easy-to-wear, high-style, functional, and colorful clothes.

This site is to honor her, remember her, inspire aspiring designers, and learn about what made her who she was.
